Tamara Kostochko collaborates with designer Artem Shumov for presentation of his Fall/Winter 2019/20 Collection
Fashion designer Artem Shumov has unveiled the lookbook for his new Fall/Winter 2019/20 collection, featuring a unique artistic collaboration with Tamara Kostochko. For the project, the artist created a series of expressive canvases that reflect the mood and spirit of the collection.
In a bold visual gesture, the model’s hands, shirt, and socks were stained with paint, further blurring the lines between fashion and art.
Built around classic men’s silhouettes, the collection includes suits and coats paired with youthful details such as knee-patched trousers and white shirts with hand-colored collars.
To explore the inner and outer worlds of the designer's brand, Tamara produced two series of large-scale canvases. The black-and-white series, a triptych presented at full male height, celebrates the beauty of the male form. It captures an inner impulse, expressed through muscular movement.
The color series, also life-sized, brings the designer-artist collaboration into sharper focus. Each canvas reflects the character and emotional tone of its subject, expressed not only through posture and gesture but also through the clothing itself.
