Concept
A mother commissioned a unique kimono design as a birthday gift for her one-year-old son. The idea was to create a magical garment rooted in the boy’s birth sign — the Wooden Green Dragon.

Idea
The dragon is portrayed as a calm, confident, and wise celestial being, peacefully soaring through a star-filled cosmos.

The Main Character
The Green Dragon flies weightlessly through space, his scales glowing with subtle shades of emerald and jade. Accompanying him are Kodama spirits, floating nearby as playful and silent witnesses — guardians of the forest and symbols of spiritual connection.

Visuals & Technique
The dragon’s shape and movement were developed using AI-assisted generation, followed by over 40 hours of hand-drawn detailing — including the intricate work on scales, horns, and cosmic clouds.

Adaptability
The kimono was designed to grow with the child, with a size range adaptable from 1 to 4 years, allowing the garment to accompany him through early milestones.
